23 New CASAs Sworn In!

We’re honored to have 23 new Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs) join our program as volunteers. These volunteers have committed to advocating on behalf of children impacted by abuse or neglect. Our program, under the standards and mission of National CASA and Georgia CASA supports and promotes court-appointed volunteer advocacy so every abused or neglected child in our community can be safe, have a permanent home and have the opportunity to thrive. We have 130 volunteers and serve approximately 350 Cherokee County children each year. Our next training opportunity will be August 2019. Please email Info@CASACherokee.Org for more information on CASA volunteer training.

The Honorable Judge Sumner swears in new Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs).
